BEST DRESSED LADY TIP NO. 1

GO CLASSIC

It’s great to embrace a current trend if it works for you but you should always let your body shape and colouring dictate your choice. Classic is always a good choice for the races, remember it’s race wear not evening wear. Classic doesn’t have to mean boring, here we’ve teamed the simplicity of Fely Campo’s structured vintage inspired dress with the drama of Carol Kennelly’s sculpted scarlet headpiece.

THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX

I know we just said to go classic but that’s not for everyone, there’s also no harm in mixing things up a bit if that’s your style. Trousers and separates are a great way to do this. Here we’ve gone for an oriental feel teaming this beautiful Chacarel silk kimono with Three Floor cigarette trousers topped off with a show-stopping colour block hat from Carol Kennelly’s collection.

Carol Kennelly’s tip for your top is ‘Make sure your hat is eye catching, (for all the right reasons) Walk around the house in it for an hour or so, just to make sure it doesn’t pinch and that there is no problems with it staying in place’ Here is just a taste of what the talented Ms. Kennelly’s creates check them all out at www.carolkennellymillinery.com
